PBVideo - 'The' Video Database

This is a brief user guide for PBVideo for the Psion 3A.

This program is free to be distributed to anybody but it must be in this form i.e. zipped and include the files listed below.  I accept no liability for any damage it may cause.  You assume responsibility upon use of this program.  Any attempt to reverse translate this program is strictly forbidden and could lead to data loss!

Installation
------------
This program consists of a the following files:
PBVIDEO.TXT - This file.
PBVIDEO.OPA - The main program.
PBVIDEO.HLP - Help module (optional - to allow minimum memory use).
PBVPRINT.OVL - Print module (optional - to allow minimum memory use).

To install PBVideo you must:
1.	Create a directory called \APP\PBVIDEO on any disk.
	(The data files are created automatically on your internal disk in M:\APP\PBVIDEO.)
2.	Copy PBVIDEO.OPA, PBVIDEO.HLP & PBVPRINT.OVL into a \APP\PBVIDEO directory on any disk (They must all go into the SAME directory).
3.	Install the program (using PSION-I).

Introduction
------------
This program enables you to catalogue all of your video recordings.  You input the tape number and length and whenever you record a programme the amount of free space is automatically calculated.
It is quite sophisticated and constantly being added to and has features that until tried you'll wonder how you lived without them!

Some of the functions included are:

1. Store a wide range of details about a recording such as title, comments, length, channel, type of recording (drama, comedy, sci-fi etc.), stereo, adverts, date, LP/SP, status etc.

2. The status option allows you to mark a recording as Seen, Not seen, Keep and Finished (giving optional space).

3. You can then do different searches on the data including searches for: free space, recording type, status and free text.  It is then possible to do a secondary search on this list.

4. The program has full help file support and makes use of the Psion built in print preview, set-up and printing facilities.

Registration
------------
This program is shareware not freeware.  You have 28 days in which to use the program and decide if you wish to keep it.  If you do wish to keep the program you must register it.
To do so quote this program name and version and send £10 UK sterling (£12 equivalent if sending foreign currency) and a stamped, self addressed envelope to:

Alternatively GO SWREG and use ID 9303.

I will then send you your personal registration code enabling unlimited tapes and recordings to be stored.
The code will also enable you to save your last position in the view and your default settings.  Registration entitles you to full support and I will attempt to incorporate any changes or additions requested.
